  • Food shopping online

Not sure it's a recommendation yet, but we recently tried this place for something a bit different to the usual shopping delivery places.

Welcome to Natoora UK - Natoora : The Online Farmer's Market. Home Delivery

First order arrived earlier today - I'll let you know if they're any good.

Practise makes us a little better, it doesn't make us perfect.

    What would Vedder do?

Looks interesting Wayne, a bit pricey for me though - I think I will have to stick to Tesco Value for a bit longer

We haven't used it for our weekly shop, just bought a few bits that we liked the look of.

I like Abel and Cole - similar sort of thing, and good for a nice box of organic meat, fresh fish, nice cheeses etc.
        I don't roll on Shabbos

You can get some good deals buying meat online. For example, I saw half a mutton for about £45, including delivery, and butchery.

Think I'll stick to Waitrose (or Ocado) - when I get a money off coupon that is! Great service and great variety.

Waitrose are great (always prefer a Tesco avocado though for some reason...). They've just changed their delivery charges too, so if you get your stuff earlier in the week, it's only £3.00.

Checked the Abel & Cole website - they don't deliver to our area. Boo!

It looks nice for a treat, but when their organic chicken works out at £12 per kilo compared to the supermarket's £5.50 per kilo, it wouldn't be an every week choice

For run of the mill stuff I prefer to use:

BigBarn - The Virtual Farmer's Market

Doesn't brng up everything, but it's a good start.
