  • Lawn Edging ?

Im looking at making my flower bed deeper as i have far to much lawn and only tall bushes hiding the fence. So i would like to plant some smaller bushes in front of them
Would like to know what people use for lawn edging, I have looked on the net but not sure which is best.
    Any ideas would be great

I don't know much about it but....

I'd advise against the plastic corrugated green stuff. It is a very flimsy and likely to be shreded by even the most weedy strimmer that brushes past it.
Excuse me, could we have an eel? You've got eels down your leg.

Log roll is always a nice option if treated correctly.

I use log roll so I can raise the flower beds slightly as our soil pans in the summer, it works a treat and looks smart. Easy to put in too.

I have log roll as well. I am looking at getting something abit sturdier so was looking at those concrete wiggly things.

If you're mowing your lawn, you want to be able to do up to the edge (not possible with log roll or similar)

What about a mowing strip of decorative slabs?
a bit like this, but you can make it look nicer, and your plants will flop over it to an extent: Paving Expert - AJ McCormack and Son - Edgings & Kerbs - Mowing Strips
