Can anyone recommend some robust tools that my 8 year old can use up at the allotment?

Joseph Bentley's Gardener's Apprentice range, I bought them for my kids from Victoriana as they were the cheapest at the time. They really are fantastic tools - proper stainless steel heads and wooden handles, really well made. The spade and the fork were £14.99 each, but I think there was a discount if you bought both together. I'd really reccommend them
