my tom tom must be feeling a bit sick cos no matter what destination we put into it it always ends up sending us in the direction of a hospital which is nowhere near where we should be going

also it tells us that we're 1 hour away from our destination and the more we drive the further it tells us we are away even though we KNOW we're only 5 mins away

last week it told us that we were driving in the middle of a field even though we were on the M61

and the other REALLY annoying thing is that it falls off the windscreen everytime we go over a bump

doesn't mean that all tom toms are crap though, just mine in particular!!

Tom Toms don't know anout BST they only seem to have the correct time in Winter.

Does yours have the "Get me Help" option? that could be why its taking you to hospital.

      Are the maps upto date??

I have TT and Garman and prefer the Garman
My phone has more Processing power than the Computers NASA used to fake the Moon Landings

the M61 has been there for about 30 years so would have thought the sat nav would have been aware of it

i've never seen the get me help option on there

I'm looking at getting a Garmin sat nav soon (probably the 1300) but I can only seem to find them at Halfords.

Do they have an exclusive distribution deal or the like or is google misleading me?!

Nah, my sister has a Tom Tom and I don't like it!

I haven't been driving that long and the lane advice and the text to speech features on this Garmin are VERY attractive to me!

It's all very well being told to turn left in 627 yards but I have very little idea what 627 yards looks like when I am stationary... let alone when I'm driving!

I really like the idea of being told to turn left in 627 yards into 'Your Road Name Here Street'!
