  • Can you recommend a good pair of secetuers

    Hi All,
All I have is cheap pair of secetuers from b&q that I use in the garden and has lost all its sharpness. I want to buy a new pair but something that is multipurpose. So I can use it to harvest my veggies on my allotmnet, prune rasbperry plant, rose bush or anything else in the garden.

What good quality one would you recommend?

I invested in a pair of Felco secateurs last year after recommendations on here. Have to say the recommendations were thoroughly deserved.

    Mine are Felco 7.

Not cheap - but they're exactly that, not cheap.

    Bought mine here:

    Secateurs,Felco Secateurs

When you compare the standard Felco to the Special Edition - they're a bargain!

Mine are felco 2 and they are great. Get the leather pouch for them I fits on a belt or clips to a pocket.

I reminds you to put them away after use and not on the ground where they will be forgotten.

They are worth the money....I went in to a posh GC and played wit them to find the one that fitted me...then got them on the internet.

We have two pairs of Felco no 7. Both over 20 years old: only one has had a blade change.

          Fantastic. Worth every pound.
