Anybody know of good cheap supliers of Auto Vents for Greenhouses
Looked around and all seem to be a bit pricy for what thay are
Seen them on Ebay going between £8 & £30
£8 is ok but was wondering if anyone know of other supliers

I have found that they don't work very well..I gave up on mine and manually open the windows by hand.

To be honest I open the top window in early June and shut it in September.

I have 2 generic auto vents for my greenhouse and I've got to say I would not be without them.

They were a bit of a pig to fit (you need 4 hands), but they do the job perfectly.

You can adjust the trigger temperature by tightening/loosening the piston screw - mine are set to open when the temp reaches about 20C. They save me from running down the garden first thing or back and forth if the weather changes! I paid about £20 each for mine from the greenhouse people. Though I have seen them for as little as £17 in hombase/focus/B&Q.

I don't know what variety NOG had, but mine are more than ok!
Excuse me, could we have an eel? You've got eels down your leg.

The roof vent was a pain to fit but wouldn't be without it..... be careful with the louvre auto vents as the one I got doesn't fit onto my louvres..
Never test the depth of the water with both feet

I could never get mine to open the window....it could be my green house though.

We've had 2 from B&Q, and a Halls one. The first B&Q one, the spring sprang off, and it didn't work anymore. Then I got a Hall's one, it was much better quality and worked fine all last year, but then 'somebody' left the bottom screw undone and all the wax leaked out... So we're back to a B&Q one, because we couldn't find another Halls.
In my experience, you get what you pay for - the slightly more expensive one was easier to fit and worked better.
