I bought one of these for a friend last christmas. Don't think she's ever used it because I'm sure she would've made a comment (either good or bad)! Yep, I use the old jam jar method - but I wouldnt be without my little hand held blender/chopper thingy - and yes, mine is from Tesco as well! Dexterdog

But the question is Nick, would you put it down that person's pants too to give it an extra shake like Jamie does?

Oh dear - bought two for Christmas pressies for the kids! I'll see if there is any feedback - they are both great cooks, so I'm sure will use it if any good

Ah! just seen the ad! how disgusting! its a bit like those Renault ones with the "shaking of the, um, er, "booty"?" I sound like a right snob - but come on folks! - who wants to see someone "shaking their a**" on TV?! Dexterdog
PS has put me right off getting a shaker thing myself - no wonder my friend hasnt used hers! Ooops! think I made a mistake in buying her one! LOL!!!
PPS No you dont need to answer this one Nick!

I was going to get one for my sister for xmas, I read the reviews for them and the main complaint appeared to be that the plastic began to to split and after a while your salads where sprinkled with little bits of plastic. Yum

It looks like a gimmicky gadget to me.
I have a salad dressing jar with the recipes up the side which shows the levels to fill to for different dressings. then you just put the lid on and shake. Works well for me. I think I bought it in Lakeland for next to nothing.

Still no feedback from the boys yet - perhaps it says it all!
