the makita is a good one, but get a 14 volt,2.6 amp, not the 14 volt 1.3 amp, it is a much better screwgun.it may be a little expensive, but will last for years.
No 1 son has a Makita set. Really impressive. Fixed my curtain tracks (including new battens) in no time. He's advised me to buy one, but don't have the money at the moment.
