Indesit Moon

Our very overworked and cream crackered washing machine finally died two weeks ago.
When looking for its replacement i wanted a no frills washer as i did not use a quarter of the programmes on the other one.
I had a look at the moon, it is a triple A rated machine and is so simple to use, minimum programmes and so easy my teenage son can use it, indeed he likes the pulsating lights and the look of it so he doesn't think it is uncool to use it!!
Result.
It is quiet and we are really pleased with it, Dixons was the cheapest retailer for this machine by far.

we're getting a 2nd hand Bosch for £150, as our Beko has decided to stop rinsing the powder off the clothes, and isn't getting the parrot poop off them anymore either.

£278 is a good price for a Moon though, I might be tempted ...

We really love it, as it is no frills and the good thing is the powder/liquid dispenser is in the door and is self cleaning so no more yukky, clogged up, drawer to clean out either!!
And both hubbie and son now like using it as it is so like a big boys toy, defintie result!!
Bosch are a fab make though and that is a really good bargain.

We love our 'Moon' too miffy. We've been using it for two or three months now, and its great.

1) Don't do what i did, and put the washing liquid into the middle (powder) dispenser, coz it ends up all over the kitchen floor

2) I'd prefer it if the 'finished' beep didn't sound until the 3 minute 'lock' period was completed too, as its a tiny bit frustrating when you leap up, thinking its all finished and then have to wait 3 minutes more to be able to open the door...but that is a tiny tiny criticism of an otherwise outstanding washing machine.
