If its anything like the previous version, don't instal it. Its slows down your system to a crawl, it stops you doing things, once you have installed it you can't get rid of it without downloading a specialist uninstall program.
There are much better products free in the net, such as AVG.Comment

I've never had a problem with NIS, been using it for years. The only problem I had with Norton was when I tried the travesty known as 360. So nannying I couldn't believe it. Won't be installing 2K10 for a few weeks, will wait until my 2K9 runs out.
I have heard good things about AVG and certainly the price is right, but I guess I'm just a creature of habit

I use Norton 360. I love it. Had others which told you every time they found something unusual and deleted/quarantined it. I really dont care. Its deleted whoo hoo!!
N360 just works away behind the scenes. Fab.
Its there doing whatever the hell it does. Thats all I need to know.

My internet protection is Fsecure which I gather is one of the more 'sensible' ones. It still couldn't stop the malware that I picked up on the Vine through daftly clicking on a link.
