    I think the problem with electrical appliances is that they take up sooo much work surface space. The food mixer, the microwave, toaster, deep fat fryer, food processors x 2, etc, whereas with the stainless steel steamer, it can sit on the hob, whether in or out of use. When in use it steams a large quantity of veg.

    Given the choice, I would go for the stainless steel hob steamer.

      You can sit an electric one on the hob....so long as you don't turn the hob on......

        Not on our gas hob you couldn't, it would wobble everywhere.

        Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.
