  • Seed Storage

On my fruitful trip to wilko's this weekend, i picked up one of these, they cost 9.99 and seem brill for storing seeds. i am considering getting another so i can label them Jan-Dec to assist in successional sowing, well thats the idea anyway and will also save me having to go through loads of Packets trying to find out which seeds to sow next.

They are a decent size and can fit in a lot of stuff, well worth having a look.

You may get away with partitioning some of the trays into 2/3 months per tray, unless you sow seeds every month.........I know I don't........

I've got my new seed box (see thread dedicated to it ), for home and storage use.

We keep odds and ends at the lottie hut ('shed' would be talking it up) and I have a tupperware box with a lid that I use to take the packets I need between the two places.

I thought of a successional sowing thing, but know my limits, and it would be all over the place by Spring.
