Good idea Snadger - I think they are super this time of year - lots of casseroles, stews, soups etc. just the thing to warm the cockles of your heart when your footie team has been thrashed well and truly! DDLBernie aka DDL

Gets it off to a flying start so to speak

Can anybody recommend a good sized slow cooker for two people? I still have the Tower one I bought in the early 80s for the four of us. It has been used and used, so it doesn't owe me anything, but its a bit large for two.~

I bought my mum one from Lakeland for Christmas which is a smaller size as shes on her own. She says it does enough for 2-3 portions and is really pleased with it. Think it was about £20.
