  • Very cheap boots

    Hi
I am usualy the kind of person who throws away those stupid little catalogues when they come through my door but when I got a catalogue called chums I gave it a quick flick before I threw it. I am so glad I did as I found my best bargain for ages. I have trouble getting wellies to fit my calves and so have been using trainers for gardening in for years but on the back of the catalogue was a pair of boots that are lower in legnth than wellies and they were fur lined (not real fur) and had a zip up the side. They were 2 pairs for £19.99 so I thought why not give them a go. Postage was quite cheap as well and if they didnt fit I could always send them back.
They came at the end of january and I found them to be great fitting with no probs at all with my rather chunky calves. They were very warm and water tight and very light to wear. I have worn them lots since. When I first saw them I did have some minor worries about the tread on the sole but I went out in them on monday and again yesterday and our roads and paths were very icy and to my suprise they didnt slip one little bit.
I cannot say enough how great these boots are. They may not be the best of style but in function they (in my opinion) are unbeatable.

Well done in finding warm and slip-proof footwear in this unsually long and slippery winter we're experiencing.

At a tenner a go plus pp it was worth a stab - and hey - it paid off.

Only downer......where did you buy'em? Go-on spill the beans.....they'll be well-pleased of the endorsement!

Me too but I can't wear socks with them as they end up as toe warmers.......

I got mine for fishing - feet stay really toastie, even sitting around all day when it's freezing.

Been out in the boots today and am pleased to say that they are as waterproof in the rain.
Ive had issues with boots in the past that seem to be snow proof but not rain proof but happily this time this is not the case
