    Thanks Geoff. I've been looking at ones with ventilation under the eaves and skylights. A bit more expensive, but probably worth it. (And, having worked stupid hours all year, the lottie might as well benefit somehow! )

    Oddly, I'd thought of painting the inside sunshine yellow - my favourite colour and, as you say, light-reflective. And the nearest to sun we get some years up here...
