Does anyone have any good tips for getting permanent marker off plant labels to re-use them?

Nail varnish remover is the only thing I've found to work.
Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.
Which one are you and is it how you want to be?

I'm using old lolly sticks, the only problem is the pen runs and biro isn't very good so I'm looking at painting or varnishing them. A rainy day project that.Bright Blessings

If at first you don't succeed, open a bottle of wine.

When clearing our plot last year we dug up some sizable stones. Large pebbles really. On a rainy day me and the kids painted on the names of the veg we are growing and placed them at the end of the rows. They look great.
They dont break and the strimmer does no harm. They wont blow away and if we wanted to we could wipe them with terps and re do them.

Thank you Alice
For me the most important thing is to share this experience with my children. I have such fond memories of |"helping" my dad in his veg patch.
My daughter has got so much out of it from knowledge, skills to new friends who also come down to the plot to have a go and help too.
On rainy days they all come into my kitchen and we cook together too.

Enjoy your children Vicki Loraine. It lasts such a short time in your life. just a blink and it's gone. My daughter is 38!!! I don't know how that happened as she was only born last week. We did all that stuff together and it's some of my best memories.
From each according to his ability, to each according to his needs.

Alice, could'nt agree more. My daughter is 37 and it feels like only yesterday that she was born. Enjoy them for the time will surely fly.
And when your back stops aching,
And your hands begin to harden.
You will find yourself a partner,
In the glory of the garden.
