Cheap value for money compost

Hi,

I'm looking to buy some new compost. Until now I've bought the stuff from Asda which has tended to be the cheapest around and worked to good effect. However this year's compost from there doesn't seem quite so good so was wondering if anyone knew of the cheapest about that they've had good results from?

B & Q multipurpose. I've never had a bad batch, though there have been some adverse comments recently from other grapes.

I complained to ASDA about their compost and got my money back. My local garden centre does 3x70lt bags for £10 and is much better value.

I wish I'd taken back the compost my daughter bought for me from Asda for Mothering Sunday. It's absolutely rubbish and the tomatoes I potted into it are testament to that. I'm potting them on as soon as I can and the Asda compost can go in the compost bin!

Thats a pity about ASDA compost I used it last year and it was pretty good stuff wonder what went wrong.
Wickes stuff is good 4 x 70ltr bags for £12
