It's one of those things that you buy and put in the back of the cupboard Dottie!

I used it a handful of times but I put it away after a while as I am carp at making my own pastry didn't want to fork out for frozen pastry.

But, after watching the presentation on QVC I think I may give it another go.

Pie Maker with Non Stick Cooking Plates & 2 Pastry Cutters

There is a video presentation on there, I was waiting to see what the muffins looked like in it but it didn't show that.

I bought a tin of best stewing steak when I made mine and tried that and they were quite nice, I made a few and froze some for quick suppers.

The only thing is they could become addictive so not good if you are watching the calories.

      Thanks Weggy.

If they aren't brilliant I can always use the in a microwave mince and bean bake recipe that I cook.

I wasn't brought up on baked beans, so never think to eat them or really like them as a veg on the plate or on toast. But as I do a fair bit of batch cooking and then freeze into smaller portions, I'll often do a bean curry. Alongside tinned kidney beans and usually a collection of other dried beans that I cook first, I add baked beans to the mix.

I'm never too concerned which variety of baked bean it is, even value range, as the sauce gets blended into the curry mix anyway. Once all my different curries are frozen into smaller portions, I can then select 4 or 5 to defrost to make up chicken curry platter meal. I'm not a quantity person, but I do like a variety of flavours and textures on my plate.

I once tried to use up some surplus veg from my plot, forget what it was, but I was not too keen. So I cooked it up to make a soup, still tasted too much of whatever the veg was, so added a tin of baked beans into the blender. The sweetness of the sauce and the texture of the blended beans, suddenly made it into a lovely soup. As you can probably tell, I love experimenting in the kitchen and although I'm sure I must have had a disaster over the years, I can't recall one. It's all about tasting as you go along and adding textures and flavours to the pot.

I assume this is the Debbie that you spoke to if you want to put a face to the name.

I've received an email stating my order has been despatched, I only placed my order lunch time yesterday, so not a bad turn around.

It states expect delivery in 2-4 days, but TNT seems to on the ball and so it's likely to arrive tomorrow morning around 8.30am.

Which means I'll make sure I'm not still soaking in the bath or in my dressing gown around that time.

I feel this is a welcome and useful additional service, so you can make appropriate arrangements.

Just remembered I've ordered loads of lentil soup, so I'll be heating a tin up and taking it with me in a flask for lunch. Just as well I deleted the white choc and toffee dips, or I'd be having them as an extra treat for breakfast too.

I placed my order Sunday morning and had an email late this afternoon saying my order was on its way, the exact same email as yours Dottie.

I used the code for 100% extra items and have received two emails with two different consecutive order numbers.

I have just emailed to ask them to make sure they have only deducted one payment from my debit card as it shows the same amount on both emails although one should say zero.

if you pressed the checkout button or pay button more than once we will receive both orders, the only one that is paid for is the one where you went through to the paypal screen and confirmed payment. when the orders come through they either say order received or accepted payment. we close all orders that come through as order received, and an email is sent automatically by the system, the only orders that are paid for and processed are accepted payment orders. Once these are processed and closed another email is sent by the system and you end up with two order numbers.
Thanks for that Weggy, I couldn't work out what had happened as I def know I only submitted my debit card details the once.

Hopefully the payment will show up tomorrow when I check my latest transactions.

Tried the Lentil and Bacon soup for lunch today, unfortuantely it's far too salty for me. So it looks like I'll have to use them as a base/stock for homemade soup and stuff.

Well I missed the delivery today .

I had an opticians appointment at 10.30am and they tried to deliver at 10.35am .

Oh well, they will attempt delivery again tomorrow, my husband will have the car and I have a damaged ligament so I def won't be going anywhere on foot.

By the way has anyone tried the Bingo biscuits?

I've just made an order - don't know where the 'eck I'm going to store it - but will be giving some away!

I queried the code above as some discounts have other digits added after - had email back confirming order received and TRIPLE will arrive - utterly ridiculous and TOO good to avoid.

Some stuff over bbf but if you have a clear understanding of difference betwixt 'bbf' and 'use by' then no prob. Many items are 2011 dates!

Even if you buy 'use by' at knock down prices and freeze immediately there is 'technically' no food hygiene issue - but you must be scrupulous.

Many thanks for this triple bargain code!

                            You beat me to it.

There is a disount code for 200% extra at Moneysupermarket.com, just placed another order, my 3rd now, getting tons of stuff for £15.10 and that includes £5.25 p+p!

I have 30 more tins of beans on the way and 30 tins of the Bacon and Lentil soup which I love.

I won't mention the Bingo biscuits and other sweet stuff that I have ordered.

Let me know if you get triple for the biscuits and sweet stuff, as I would have thought that they came under the heading of snacks?

Great offer if it's your first order, but I already have loads of tins from the double offer last month. Lots of stuff now out of stock, so the offer is attracting plenty of orders.

I used the 100% extra free code last month and got double the amount of Bingo biscuits I assume it will be triple this time.
