Being given what looks like a spray tin of Britton Wax Dressing, but when you take the red lid off, it just has a plastic ring pull. So it seems to be a liquid wax, in an upright tin.
Directions: Shake well before use.
Apply the dressing sparingly after having thoroughly warmed the garment, rub well into the material and then warm again to enable the proofing to penetrate the cloth. Hang in normal temperature for approx one hour.
Contents ready for immediate use. Store vertically.
No mention of how to warm the garment. So I assume I'll have to heat the jacket with a hairdryer and then heat again when waxed? Won't be done for a little while just yet though, as it needs to be done in a warm ventilated room and as it so cold outside at the mo, I'm not opening any windows.
