I was recently given a phone number for a source of good quality graded topsoil.
I duly called the guy and he said yeh its £25 per tonne delivered if you were in his catchment area unfortunately I was a little out of it However he said he could do me a Tonne for £35 which I still think is a good price and also he text me back later that morning saying he could deliver it later that day too!
I text back to him my address and to my great delight when he showed up about 3pm he had brought me not 1 tonnes but more like 2 and a quarter tonnes Wow I said how much do you want ?? Only what we agreed on the phone he replied
what a great deal my only slight criticism is it has a few large stones in it but nothing desperate I have took the majority of the big ones out as I moved and mixed it with Horse manure and bone meal and a little leaf mould
