Moroccan Cookbook

Hello all
I am looking for a recommended Moroccan cookbook for a foody friends birthday...and was hoping for some suggestions from you knowledgeable lot please
Love it or hate it.
There are loads so thats why I ask.

I like Claudia Rodens Arabesque.

Covers Morocco, Turkey and the Lebanon for recipes.

Claudia Roden is indeed the Grand Dame of Middle Eastern cuisine. I love her books. For a more modern spin you could look at Ottolenghi.

Despite the naff sounding tiltle, Australian Women's Weekly Middle Eastern Cookery is also excellent.

Unfortunately the books are rather too expensive for me to get for her, but I'll keep an eye out for similar.

i'm really into cookbooks and one i have that is pretty good is the MEDINA KITCHEN by Fiona Dunlop- it is a mix of traditional and modern moroccan dishes and is laid out in the style of Jamie Olivers America book, ithink it was only a few quid from amazon....
