any "boy" friendly tips? i'd rather not goto the lottie with pink nails. I get scoffed at enough for my "modern" ways (i.e. copying zaz's bean frame - flipping heck anyone would have thought I was murdering someone on my plot!)

I tend to wash my hands after and pick out the grub from under my (very short) nails with one of my thumbs, then pick that out with a toothpick. yes, not very ladylike but i hate having long nails as its just one more thing to faff around with
