    im after a good quality fruit cage 15ft by 10ft. can anyone recommend one

    hindsight is a wonderful thing but foresight is a whole lot better

    you can make your own using the 50mm metposts available from the likes of B&Q and 50 x 50 timber for the uprights. Attach rails using screws or nails and cover with fishing net or similar. Heaps cheaper than a bought one.

      I sort of made one out of conduit before too.. bodged angles, but you could use tennis balls. I never got around to netting mine so took it down in the end mind.

          I am looking to build some fruit cages for my new plot, will need to make 3 cages at about 2m x 4m each...I have no real experience doing this sort of stuff, are there any tutorials for simpletons, with lots of pictures preferably!

          AP - how much would you say the materials come to? Is it a fairly cheap project, and do you need to be a pro to do it?
