  • Buying empty bottles.

Has anyone seen any good bargains for empty bottles - maybe with swing top - to fill with sloe gin, etc to give away as *mas pressies. Don't really want to re-use for pressies but don't want to spend more than the contents cost! Lol.

    Looking for about 375ml size.

Try shopping for Lorina lemonade at Waitrose or Ocado - drink the pop (sometimes on offer for £1.49) Et voila large swingtop bottle. Failing that £ shop maybe if you're lucky.
We buy Lorina from time to time and have collected over 60-70 bottles.

Ta, but have just looked at Ocado/Waitrose website - they look good, but the bottles are full-size at 750ml. Looking for half that size really, or maybe 500ml.

Ta. Nearest is Bristol, about 50 miles away - would be as cheap to have some delivered. Also if we went to IKEA it'd definately cost as I'd buy lots!

Ask at bars/restaurant bars for Grolsch empties. They may return then again they might not.
