  • Fruit Tree Pruning Book

Hi All, Looking to buy as a pressie for a very good friend a book on pruning fruit trees. He's trying to fan train a peach tree and getting very confused with things he's read on the net, etc. Something with clear diagrams would be good, any recommendations greatly received folks?? ta x

The OH has a book by the RHS's encyclopaedia of Practical Gardening called "Pruning".

It does cover more than just fruit, but the diagrams are excellent. It includes a section on peaches....

Just spotted this one, although no idea how good it is....

Pruning Fruiting Plants: A Practical Gardener's Guide to Pruning and Training Tree Fruit and Soft Fruit, with Over 350 Photographs and Illustrations and Easy-to-follow Advice: Amazon.co.uk: Richard Bird: Books

P.S. if I now buy a gardening book, I know who to blame!!!!
