They look nice VC thanks. I might get my order in. The Book People isn't a club you have to join though, is it? Pink berry is tiny then but healthy looking at least?!

No VVG, its not really a club at all, more an online shop with good deals on box sets.
I'm only here cos I got on the wrong bus.

The plant alongside is the "free" pink Blueberry offered with this month's GYO!
Is that the £6 postage one?

Wouldn't that fit in a first class envelope?

As Mikey says - its not a club so you don't have to order anything else. there's a 10% discount offer until midnight tonight (Quote "PRINCESS" at checkout) but that would mean you'd have to pay p&p on orders under £25 - unless of course, you find other books you'd like on here!
          Pink berry looks fine

Yep - £5.60 to be exact!
It came in an 18" long cardboard box and the plant, including pot, is 11" - so plenty of headroom Looks very healthy though.

Cheers Mikey and VC - have ordered a set and got myself the Greedy Italians Eat Italy cookbook too. With 10% off I'm a happy bunny.

I've got quite a few of them separately and the original ones are all hardback, if these are paperback then that goes some way to explain the brilliant reduction in price. Actually I've bought the veggie one twice as the first one got very wet and is now falling apart. Handy to keep at the lottie though as it's a fab book.

Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.

Which one are you and is it how you want to be?

I too have a couple of the hardback ones which I love but they are £15 a time.
Anyhow, must be psychic, because I had a sudden thought to track my parcel and just as I saw it was out on the van, I looked out of the window and there was A VAN ...with my books.

With regards to The Book People, you can subscribe to their booklet which arrives about every month or they circulate work places leaving boxes of books for you to browse from which you order from (no postage). I don't know if you can order books that are not on promo from the guys that bring them round work places though.
