  • Extra large Plant pots

I'm looking for some large tree pots for planting my potatoes into something in the region of 30-40 litres with handles.

Does anyone currently use these themselves and can recommend where to get them. I've seen used ones for sale on fleabay, and I've found a wholesaler where I can get them for about £3 each, does anyone know of somewhere cheaper than that., or suggest alternative ways of finding them.

    Thank you peeps
I'm only here cos I got on the wrong bus.

I also bought some more on fleaBay from a Landscaper who was having a clear-out. They are so useful.

Dai Iawn Darcy thats the same site I found too., they look really good value. Have you used them yourself, do you know if the plastic is robust enough to last for more than 1 season?

Fleabay seem to have the same thing but charging the same price for used ones!!

I've also sent an email to some of the tree specialists in the area to see if they ever have any kicking around spare like... You can but hope innit.

I was watching some videos on growing exhibition carrots and spotted them in the background and thought I wonder where can I find me some of those..., I've got loads of good growing medium its just the pots I'm shy of.

G4, are they the same pots as you use?

I've got a couple of those pots they came from an old neighbour who had bought trees potted in them. that must be 4 year ago and they're still fine.

I've got mine (spuds) in a plastic 80L dustbin.. That was a fiver from a DIY store, as one of the handles was broken on the lid.
