  • Sun Protection

My youngest granddaughter has become my apprentice in the garden. Trouble is, her skin is so very fair that even half an hour in the sun and she burns (if the family go abroad they have to keep her covered or she blisters). She was covered in freckles after only 10 minutes yesterday so she stayed in the shade where she could find it. My daughter has used Factor 50 on her, but even that doesn't offer much protection. Do any of you have any recommendations please?

A big sun hat and sunglasses will help ...

Mind you, when the sun is that fierce, as it was midday yesterday and Saturday, its probably wisest to keep out of it.
