I bought a nice garden spade and garden fork a month or two back. Yesterday I went ahead and bought a Dutch hoe, garden rake, and a rabbiting spade.
I didn't really 'need' the rabbiting spade but it's supposed to be good for transplanting and we're forever planting small trees and shrubs around here so I thought it would be a bit easier to use than the big garden spade.
I think that covers the main larger tools for growing fruits and vegetables.
I bought some grass shears and very nice secateurs this summer too.
I'm replacing some really poorly made tools and a few worn out tools so I think I'm about where I need to be.
Too bad it's about the end of the season and I won't get to use them much until next year but that's something to look forward to.
