I have tracked down the manufacturer for the gloves I use and they make them in small (7) and extra small (6)

Matrix P Grip Seamless Knitted Liner with Polyurethane Palm Coating : Polyco

Unfortunately, I get mine from plumbcentre and they only stock the medium and they have a ridiculous min order with them. If you do go down this route it might be worth giving the manfacturers a ring.

      What's the tree named retailer?

Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.

Which one are you and is it how you want to be?

You have to think like the Hobbit. Haven't cracked the reference myself - best I can come up with is Ashwoods, a garden centre near Bridgnorth; but I don't think that it is that. I'll ponder.

Hobbit may not be back for months - so we'll be baffled for a while longer

Could it be Coppice Garden Centre (in Brummieland, which I notice is where HH hails from)??

Bionic make small fitting gloves. They're expensive, but worth it IMO.

Edit: oh, I was touting business for them in that thread too

These Weedmaster Plus are my absolute favourites, and I get through 3 pairs a year on average (I use them every day, for all garden tasks)

It doesn't feel like you have gloves on at all, they give great grip, and the velcro cuff ensures soil doesn't get inside

Aren't you all a helpful lot? Thank you. My husband just asked what I want for the winter festivities and now I have an answer. As for the tree named retailer?? Who knows! Thanks again.

I reckon that's it. Bay is a tree after all! She's keeping us all on tenterhooks.
