Having just bought the book yesterday.its very inspiring and interesting to read if you like food that is slightly different.i wizzed through some of it last night,lots of interesting recipes to use rhubarb for example like R sorbet and upside down R cake.not experimented with recipes yet but quit a few that i want to cook already

I have recently bought it and despite slavering over her, I also think think that the book is a cracker. It makes a good read and some of the recipes are sublime and most are inspiring.

after looking through piglets copy ,wellie went to bristol today and bought it and shall be creating one or two of her recipes this weekend , it has some great dishes in it, money well spent me thinks.

I know I'm a girl..... but, Trousers can slaver over Mrs. Raven completely anytime. What an inspirational lady. The Garden Cookbook is just wonderfully inspirational, in my humble opinion, and the photographs, just stunning.
Well, what can I say about the actual recipes? To absolutely die for.
Ten out of Ten for this book, the author, the photographer, the contributors, and anybody wot has the sense to buy it. Absolutely superb....

Having had the book for more than a week now,its become my bed time read.tried a couple of the recipes already.the kale and winter veg sections sound really interesting.i am a big fan of Sarah .i have the bold and brilliant book aswell and i use it alot when designing my own borders.

It is terrific, I love the way it is laid out seasonally and by vegetable, so if you have a glut of, say, Jerusalem Fartichokes, there are a couple of different ways to cook them. She's particularly good on unusual veg, like borlotti beans, JAs, different kales.

The only downside is the price - RRP £30, so I have a copy from the library on permanent loan!

Cheaper from Amazon - I think it was £17 from memory. Money well spent. I've lent mine out to a friend - who used to teach cookery at a senior school. It certainly is inspiring.

Well, my copy was even cheaper, and brought to me by that big bloke in red about 3 weeks ago
Havent tried any of the recipes yet, but they do lok rather spiffing!
