Plant label blank again. What do you use?

I use the white markers in pots - pencil while they're inside and then marker pen on the other side of the marker when they get potted on to go outside.

For my raised beds I don't use markers - I use square foot gardening there and now it's fully dug over it's marked out with string and I have a diagram showing what has been planted in each square in pen, and what I'm still planning to plant in pencil.

Chinograph (sp) pencil on normal labels then rub off with one of those magic erasers which take marks off walls. Quick, cheap and easy and means I can reuse my labels for years.

Have just gone out and bought myself one of these, Alison, so thanks for the tip.

I find crows etc merrily pull out the white plastic markers and chuck them to one side as they wander around exploring!

Mine have a little hole which I thread gardening twine through and either attach to the plant itself or to its support
