Sorry I can't advise on any chilli growing books ( I just wing it ). But I'll be looking forward to your photo diary . Have you decided what varieties you will be growing hydroponically ?

The thread I linked to has a post about "your" book. Philthy says

"Yep I got that one. That particular title has a few recipes but is more of an overview, looking at the selecting of varieties and providing growing advice."

I haven't got any books on chilli growing either! Philthy would be the one. Really interested in your experiment though if I was choosing an easy hot chilli plant to grow it would be a lemon drop or a hab. I seem to have more luck growing those two varieties than anything else and they both fruit for a very long time.

I would probably go for a super hot chilli because they take a long time to crop. Be interesting to see if hydroponics makes them crop any faster.
