    Cordless Grass Trimmer

    Hi ya
    please can any of you lovely people recommend me a good Cordless Grass Trimmer ,there so many out there i am a bit Thanks

    I use a Ryobi strimmer but I also use their drill, saw, etc so I don't have to fork out for battery and charger for every tool.

    Works well enough.

        Watching this thread with interest as I will likely have to get one myself this year. Not sure if to go petrol or battery and new or used

          I bought one of these last year but was 18v not 20v. I found it to be a lot better than the ones with nylon spools...............As it happens, they came into Lidls today.

                Can I also say that their after sales service was 2nd to none. I accidentally hit a stone breaking part underneath the strimmer. I contacted them explaining what had happened & that I was willing to buy a new part.............they sent me a new strimmer & told me to dump the original one.

                  On the downside, you only get about a half hour out of a fully charged battery but luckily as they sent me out a new machine, I ended up with 2 batteries & 2 chargers.

                      One tip I would give (if you do go for this one) is that because most of their products come with a 3 year guarantee is to staple the receipt inside the user manual (as they reqd a photo of it for proof of purchase). Out of habit, I do this with most electrical appliances I buy.
