                    I don't use plug trays anymore, just big trays with no inserts. I try to make sure to prick the seedlings out as soon as I can after they come up and are big enough to move, before the roots get all tangled.

                            I hate to say it, but the best seed trays and inserts I have bought were from Poundland about three years ago.Still going strong and trays are rigid. And they had a propagator cover with them.
