well I went ahead and got a tiller from srewfix £60 and it's a great bit of kit ! I went a bit steady to start with it ,then realised it had got a lot more Humph and then let it rip , I dug half of the plot that's not been dug for 2yrs in less than 2hrs ,it chomped through hard ground and flirted stones out to the side and left a fine tilth to the soil ,I wished I had got it sooner ! atb Dal
