hi and welcome, a nice bunch of experienced and knowledgeable folks here,
having lived in africa for 30 odd years before returning to my native scotland I can attest that there is indeed much to learn and adjust to.
possibly the biggest adjustment isn't the cold but sunlight, or the lack thereof
Hello and welcome. Good luck with the move back to the UK.
Lots of friendly folk on here with loads of advice. There's also a selection of growing guides (one of the greyish brown tabs below the magazine's logo). One issue you won't have had to deal with in Tenerife is frost, I imagine. Might be worth asking about first and last frosts in the areas where you're looking.
VC, you got any advice on the frost front?
Don't have much frost or snow where I am, Snoop but, the higher up into the mountains you go, the more likely it becomes, obviously.
The nearer the coast you are, its probably milder. Probably, there'll be someone on here who can advise when the new home has been found.
