Am quite surprised to realise it was 5 years since I was last on here, but I'm back. Again
.The last few years have been a bit hectic in that we've moved house 3 times after selling our lovely little retreat near Spurn Point to move nearer my OH's Mum up in County Durham.
We now live on the edge of Weardale in the North Pennines and are getting the place sorted, but sadly, MIL passed away last year at the same time that I had a cancer scare, so the garden went by the wayside. I'm still driving a truck for a living, but ironically I changed jobs a couple of months ago to work for a Cumbrian company who mainly deliver rail products. With all that's going on these days, my old firm are all furloughed, whereas the new lot are still busy keeping the rail network supplied.
The garden has become more important than ever at this time, so I'm busy with lots of projects, and growing plenty of produce, and looking forward to reaping the benefits later in the year.
