Hi Guys. although im new to the gardening scene, I have been growing veg in my own back yard for years, I have recently got myself an allotment and my whole lifestyle has changed, I have been nominated as Chairman of my local allotment society ( by default only, no one else wanted the job ) but im giving it my best shot and changing things for the better I hope, being a society we are totally self funding and receive no help from our local council, I have applied for a grant to fit new gates and security fencing and repair the old worn out roadways, (fingers crossed), im also getting into chicken keeping with 2 dozen already and another 2 dozen on the way next week, I intend breeding a couple of specialised breeds, for eggs and meat, I welcome any help or advice on veg growing or chicken keeping, steve
