Hi from another newbie

Hi, I just found this site today while I was googling for info on growing pomegranite trees. I've got a tiny garden that had very poor soil, but late last year my lovely neighbour re-vamped it for me - building me some raised beds and filling them with lots of manure and soil, so this year I'm hoping to grow lots of fruit and veg. I've got a small salad bed, a herb patch and a small bed for other fruit & veg. So far I've planted garlic, shallots, spring onions & globe artichokes & today I put it a pomegranite tree. Was this post too long for a first post???

Thanks for the welcome. Paul, I got in in Woollies - not really holding out much hope, but it said on the label it should fruit. I've planted it against the sunniest wall in the garden but I'll just have to wait and see - at the moment it just looks like a stick!! LOL
