Hello all from a veggie novice

Hi all. I've been tinkering in the garden for a few years and after spending my 20's and most of my 30's killing anything green as soon as look at it i finally seem to be able to grow something! Spurred on by last years success with a few marigolds and dhalia's I have ventured this year into what i've always fancied doing and am having a go at growing my own veg!

I only have a dinky little garden (and dont drive so cant really do the allotment thing) so am doing everything in pots.
So far I have actually managed to raise leeks, toms, carrots and cucumbers so at the moment I am very happy indeed .
No doubt I'll be popping up from time to time asking very silly/basic questions indeed so hope you'll bear with me! Glad to be part of the community - thanks for having me

Remember, no question is too stupid on here on ask away! The only tip I would suggest is that you add your location via User CP in top left corner - sometimes the advice you get depends on where you are in the country ie Shetlands as opposed to south coast!

Oh, and don't forget to stick a pin in our Grapes map! (General chitchat, at the top)
