    just a quick hello to everyone,just found this site so it'll take me a while to get around i think. i'm from wigan and have had a plot for over 10 years but never used it to its potential.maybe this year with a little help from here.

        Welcome KingEd. I'd been growing for 30-odd years (some of them very VERY odd!) when I joined this forum, but the enthusiasm of people here will really get you going.

              I grew up near Wigan (in Appley Bridge) and live quite close by in Preston now. There seem to be loads of North Westerners on here!

              You'll be able to have your best year ever on your allotment with all the encouragement on the Grapevine.
