Hi all, my wife bought the magazine and I'm hooked. Have lived in the countryside all my life really but have never felt the need to grow anything. Compost, few seeds and any old receptacle, bit of water and hey presto - or even pesto. Doesn't your own basil taste great !
Looking forward to getting and sharing hints and tips

Welcome to GYO, Aldergrower, enthusiasm we're not short of here. Anything you grow always tastes better, or at least that's what we keep telling ourselves and gardening's a great way to unwind.

That Snadger - he's nobbut a lad! Welcome to the grapevine - you'll get loads of advice - I thought I didn't need a lottie in addition to my garden veg plot - I was only a vine member for a few months when I decided there was nowhere near enough room in my garden!

Couldn't they be used as dibbers? Mini rotovators?
