Hello new member

I have just joined, having found this site by accident. I've an allotment in Chelmsford that has taken me a year to clear it, & so last year was a mix of trying to grow something - anything!!, and clearing couch grass.
I'm new to vegetable growing & so have a lot to learn, for which the magazine has been very useful.

You'll find lots of encouragement on here as lots of us (me included ) are still trying to clear very overgrown allotments. Keep at it & it you ever have a moment when you feel overwhelmed by the weeds, come on here & the other vines will help you through it!

Hello Leaf and welcome to the vine.
My allotment was really over grown too had been untended for several years, gaud knows why when there's such a long waiting list and I was phoning the council weekly for 18 months!!!! (deep breath!)
Glad you've managed to get your cleared, look forward to hearing what you'll be doing with it this year!
