  • Hi from rainy Bedford

Hi everyone, i'm Janet and along with my husband Martin took on half a plot at the beginning of March, it's in pretty good condition and we've dug half of it but due to the weather and a fortnights holiday we haven't been able to do anymore but hopefully we'll get a couple of hours in over the weekend, we've got loads of seeds and are raring to go and are really looking forward to eating fresh tasty produce!

Hello and welcome to the vine. Have you grown veg before? What do you like growing?
The forum has plenty of tips, I've learnt loads from the forum.
It's a great place to be.

        hi herbie
Never grown veg before so it's a whole new experience for us, we've planted a couple of rows of onions and put some potatoes in yesterday, got some broad beans growing on the windowsill and we've got peas and french beans to go in, we're just going to see how it goes and be thankful for anything that grows!!

          Heywayne
Thanks for the welcome, our plots only a 5 minute walk away so will hopefully be able to nip down most days if the rain ever stops!
