Hello
I'm hankering after an allotment - we only have a tiny yard - but I don't really have time to keep up to one. I was wondering if there's anyone in West Leeds who would like a hand either with their vegetable garden or allotment. I could offer time at the weekend, evenings and possibly during the week, but never sure when!
We live very close to 2 sites - one is lovely and well maintained and I think I might put my name down on the waiting list and hope that in a few years' time when my name comes up I have more time. The other is derelict and I was offered one last year, but there's no water, not a proper fence, no-one else on the site and I was just out-faced by it all, so didn't take it. If I knew there were other people raring to go on it, perhaps I'd take it on - but there's been no action so far this year.....
