Hi, another noob here!
Been growing veg for a couple of years now with some advice from the father-in-law and a bit of hit and miss general hapharzardness. Look forward to quizzing you guys and offering what little tit-bits of info I have myself.

As well as general veg growing I've entered into a little competition with some friends to see who can grow the biggest carrot, I'll be after a few tips on this topic for starters.
