Hi All,
I am new to this forum and an enthusiastic, but inexpert gardener. I've just been chatting to a colleague and she tells me that she's heard of growing potatoes for Christmas in a biscuit tin. Is this possible? I'm off to peruse the forum to find out.

Welcome to the vine. I grow my spuds in grow sacks, they seem to work Ok.
You won't be inexperienced for long, the forum is a great place, with lots of people who have lots of experience and growing tips.
What are you planning to grow?

NOt quite sure what we'll be growing yet, as husband has itchy feet and we may well move to one of the villages. I like containers for growing things, so I might try the spuds in a sack.
