Hi Grapevine Community,
My username is Auntyrynam and I am new to the world of online message boards, (so apologise for any errors).
I am forty something and live with my husband and three grown up children in Essex. I enjoy gardening immensely, I specially enjoy growing things from seed. We have been allotmenteers since May 07 and love it. We have had some success, although our spring cabbages were a disaster! There is so much to learn: crop rotation, when to plant, where to plant, how much to plant and such a lot of conflicting advice. Our fellow allotment holders have been great even though initially they looked upon us as t.v gardeners. However I think we have proved our worth having been on the allotment all winter!!!
We are hoping for a bumper year this year and will look to our fellow grapevine members for any advice and support that they can give.
