I attend important meetings, I Chair important meetings, but secretly, and unbeknown to me, because I have forgotten (old age) and (because of the earlier in the day important meetings in my garden) I still have a pocket with radish and beetroot seed packets. Once you realise they are there, and what you started earlier in the day, the whole situation becomes a little more mellow!
The garden rocks! End of!

Even though I have more than seen the funny side of gawping at these minute green specimens and even worse inviting other people to speculate about them when in the grand scale of things it isn't exactly important - I have appreciated the responses. Especially those hinting that I am not the only complete fruit cake out there. I think I can let this thread die (like a cabbage seedling in the jaws of a slug?). My horticultural aim is to study the site and learn about composting vast quantities of docks with roots, and non-toxic slug deterrents - all of which I feel sure I may be able to learn about by simply searching this sites postings. I lost a complete evening when I did carrots. I am genuinely serious when I say the information available here is amazing. The nicest thing is the personalities of the writers which shine through too. So - thanks all re the cabbage and broccoli identity parade. I will start a new thread in a few months time announcing the launch of Dotski's Chunky Coleslaw Company. Or - possibly a support group rather earlier on for dealing with loss :-)
